Sync Courses

I have a bunch of courses in my Edge 810 that have accumulated over the years. I'd love a way to get them into Connect without having to ride each one again. Garmin training Center used to sync the courses with the Edge, but Connect doesn't. There doesn't seem to be a way to get courses into Connect (either by syncing or importing) without riding the course again.

Yes, there is no way that I see to get a course directly from your Edge and into Garmin Connect. If you've ridden the course in the past, then you shouldn't need to ride it again. You just need to locate the activity and click the Save as Course link in the activity details page.

The only way that I see to do it without having an activity file for the course is to convert the course gpx/tcx/fit file to an activity gpx/tcx/fit file. I believe you can do this with gpsies.com. It inserts bogus timestamps into the data which makes it an activity. After you upload the generated file, you'd have to do the Sava as Course thing as I mentioned above.
