Finished a ride today, plugged my Garmin 800 into my computer the way I always do...but instead of connecting, I get an error message on the Garmin's screen that says "USB Cable connected to the wrong adaptor". Tried again a few times, and I either get this message or I get "Accessory not supported". Any idea of what's going on and/or how to fix? Ride data appears to be intact...
Ok, so I tried cleaning the USB port with alcohol. Am no longer getting the error message, but the unit is still not connecting to the computer (it just boots up and starts searching for satellites. Anything else to try?
