Uploaded activity does not show on Garmin Connect

ANT agent retrieved this morning's run from my FR405 and then said it was uploaded to Garmin Connect. The activity was automatically deleted from my FR405, as per my settings. However, this time it didn't appear on Garmin Connect, all though I have used this procedure hundreds of times over the last few years without any issues. I have no idea how where to find the activity now. It is not on my FR405 anymore, nor is it in my Connect account.

This happened after I tried installed Garmin Express, found out it didn´t do anything and re-installed the ANT Agent. I have not touched any setting, re-installing seemed to go very smooth. The ANT agent automatically found my FR405 and started to sync.

I then created a dummy activity on my FR405 which was found by the ANT agent. It then properly transfers the dummy activity to Garmin Connect and removes it from my FR405.

Question: Where is the data about this morning's run? It is not in C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\3828508438\History. Should I consider this data lost in action?
  • Similar issue for me. Yesterday uploaded a run from Garmin 620 to Garmin Connect via Garmin Connect software on my android phone. Message on phone and from 620 saying sync completed properly. But the activity hasn't appeared on my Garmin Connect activities list.

    Same thing, sync is not working between Ant and Garmin connect.
    The upload works between the device (forerunner 410) and Ant, then the transfer is blocked.

    If you have Garmin Express and the ANT Agent installed on the same computer, you are asking for trouble. If Garmin Express is able to bind to the ANT+ USB Stick, then it will be used to try to transfer your activities to Garmin Connect. That means that your backup files will be stored in a different location (the new location is mentioned in this support article), and you won't be able to access them easily with Garmin Communicator Plugin if you've been using it.

    It is a bad idea to have both pieces of software on the same computer, so the best thing to do is to pick one and stick with it. I would urge you to drop the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin and switch over to Garmin Express, but you may have reasons to stay with the software you know. Until you are ready to commit to using the Garmin Express software, you should remove it from your computer entirely.

    Similar problem, but the current workouts are present on Garmin connect, but my older workouts have disappeared.

    I'm having similar problem. I uploaded my Edge 800 yesterday (it shows in Express as last synced yesterday) but it shows an older last sync date in Garmin Connect. I uploaded my Fenix2 today and it worked fine. Edge 800 still not showing.

    Similar problem here. I have a 405CX and sometimes my workouts will upload and other times will not. Saturday's run went in just fine, now today's is not there. Fortunately still on my device. This issue started when I received a replacement 405CX. I'd love a solution as it's now impossible for me to get an accurate read on what I'm doing without all of my data in one dashboard.
