Can't sync personal records to and from Garmin Connect

Hello,

My Garmin Forerunner 620 cannot sync personal records to Connect and from Connect.

Situation:
In my Forerunner 620 I have personal record of 1 km of 6:00 (example)
In my Connect account there was personal record of 1 km of 7:00. I deleted it and hoped that personal record from Forerunner 620 would override it.

What I did:
- Plugged my Forerunner 620 to PC. Garmin Express opened and synced.
- In Connect there is still old record
- Then I tried to push "send to device" from Connect
- It created new item to queue (personal record), but every time I tried to send that, it opened Garmin Express, synced and still there was 1 item in queue
- After I unplugged my Forerunner, it did some updating with Wifi. Nothing changed, not from Forerunner or Garmin Connect side, except that queue was now empty.

So...

How I can sync my personal records with Connect? And if there is mismatch between Forerunner and Connect, which person record will be used?

What I've also tried:
- First I tried to sync personal records with Mac. It doesn't work even that well, because Express will freeze when downloading personal records from connect. Only way is to Force Quit.

Syncing and Connect seems to be working quite funky. Even when it works (everything except personal records), Connect doesn't seem to understand that sync is ready, it just says "Waiting for Garmin to connect" or something similar. You have to reopen page to get rid of that.

My Forerunner 620 is brand new and I've succesfully synced it once, after that problems started.

    I am seeing a similar issue. I recently reset my FR620 to factory defaults to resolve the restart during activity issue. I am trying to send all of my personal records from Garmin Connect to the device and it seems to crash Garmin Express. The screen says that it is Syncing, but no progress has been made and the menu bar icon for Garmin Express is no longer there. The Activity Monitor (I'm running Mac with Mavericks as the OS) shows that Garmin Express is still running and utilizing CPU. I have uninstalled and installed Garmin Express twice as I wasn't sure of the cause. I am able to sync workouts and my calendar just fine. It is only when I attempt to send the personal records that this happens.

    After cycling it over wrote all of my pr's with the cycling times. I reset the records and then went to the modern connect and it would not send the pr's so I went to the classic/old connect and it sent them to my watch.

    If you device supports cycling mode, you should use it to avoid this happening in the first place.

    After switching to Classic mode I can now override my PRs in Connect using Wifi connection. I haven't tested if I could override device PRs with Connect data using Classic. However now that my PRs are ok, it is not that important anymore. It seems that Modern UI gives you lots of headache.

    I have the exact same issue and solution with regard to sending garmin connect calendar or workouts to my watch. At one point in time it worked fine, but now I find that it works only in classic mode, but not with the Modern UI.

    I am having the very same problem with my Garmin forerunner 15-

    All of my activity data is in the queue behind the personal records file, so that won't sync at all.

    My only option is to crash out of Garmin express

    Garmin, can you please get this sorted.

    I have a Garmin Forerunner 220
    I'm really enjoying it, however I have the same problem personal records on watch do not update to Garmin connect.
    For the amount of money I paid, this basic function should definitely work.
    I notice there's no replies from Garmin on this subject, is there some sort of fix in the works?

    When you are looking at the full page of activities, when you select one of them, you can assign it as a PR. For distance based stuff, it's got to be very close to the PR. So for example, if you did 5k, but the actual distance is 5.2k, it might not auto assign a PR. Also, when you get a new PR automaticly, you have to go to the Personal Records widget and accept the new PR.

    Same problem for me. I'm not able to display 5k and 10k personal records. On my FR220 however, I can see my 5k and 10k personal record recorded with that device.

    Just bought the 220... Same deal. I get a message from Garmin Connect saying, "There was an error synching with Garmin Connect". I tried loading a screen shot of the message here, but shockingly, the uploader doesn't work either. The watch seems to synch otherwise. Hopefully someone will figure this out.

    Oh, and the heart rate monitor doesn't work either. Not real impressed.
