Shared files show as km instead of mi.

When people open a shared Facebook link to a ride it shows as km instead of mi. My account is setup with Statute as my Measurement Units. What can I do so users who open a link on Facebook see it as Statute?

-- showing up as KM instead of MI, and no way to change it - or at least Garmin has decided that Kilometers are used in the US to measure bicycle distances, since the best riders are European.
