I downloaded a gpx filed from Strava. Although I select the file to be uploaded to directly through Garmin Connect, the file comes up "Unidentified". Why is this happening?
Garmin Connect is picky about the files that it will accept. The most common problem that people run into is that Garmin Connect only allows importing of activity files. If you are trying to upload an activity file, and it isn't accepted, sometimes you just need a little tweak using a text editor and then you can upload them. Upload one of the gpx files here and we'll try to tell you what needs to change. Then you can apply that change to all of your files and upload them.
