GPX Import wrong height

Hi!

Just imported a few GPX files an noticed, that the data is not correctly shown in Garmin connect. The same file shows loaded into basecamp shows the correct max height of 2457m, all other datas are also displayed correctly. The same file imported to Garmin connect shows a way lower max altitude and some other corrupted data as well.

I attached one of the files, maybe some has a solution. By the way, i tried the same as tcx with the same result.
  • Go to the bottom of the page and disable elevation corrections. Since this was a file imported from an unknown device, Garmin Connect used the data from it's map databases. Disabling the elevation corrections forces Garmin Connect to use the data in the file.
  • Thanks, now i get the correct values! Only the graph is still showing the corrected altitude :-(
  • Sorry, can't help you with that. Garmin Connect has had various issues with altitude/elevation corrections ever since the early part of the year. Maybe you should file a support issue with Garmin Support just so it can be added to their list of things to be fixed. I'd think the more reports they get, the more priority it will receive.
