Forerunner 610 not syncing

My Garmin Forerunner 610 is not syncing with the new garmin express, always show a sync error. I've tried a lot of things but this new tool definitely is not working!

I have this problem ever so often. I just retry untill it works. Sometimes it works after I disconnect (and reconnect) the Ant-stick

I am having exactly the same problems with a Mac. It only started on the recent updates to Garmin Connect. Any more tips?
