Garmin Express Not Recognizing Device on MAC new OS Yosemite

I'm on an Apple/Mac using the new OS Yosemite and the desktop app isn't able to locate my Forerunner 305. It was plugged into the back of my computer with a usb cable. I reinstalled the app and still same issue. I ended up using the older non-supported Garmin Training Center app and it found my device so I could transfer the data from my 305 to connect.garmin.com

Anyone else having any issues with this?

It's not beta software anymore. I'm downloading it now, but I'm going to be pretty unhappy if my Garmin Connect stops working. Any news?

Garmin Express 3.2.19.0 works for me on the MB Pro and Edge 1000.

Installed Yosemite and Garmin Connect seems to be working. Syncs with vivo and also with MyFitnessPal. Good job Garmin.

It doesn't work with the full product release either!

It does work with the full release and Garmin Express. Moved over from the beta 6 to the released version of Yosemite seamlessly on a late 2012 iMac 27", 2014 iMac 27" and a late 2013 retina MacBook Pro using 910XTs.

Is the problem you are having with a FR305? Are you using ANT Agent or Garmin Express? If I remember correctly GTC requires ANT Agent and you cannot have both running. Do you have both installed? If so, completely uninstall ANT Agent, install GE, re-pair and try again.

New MacBook Pro with Yosemite Garmin Forerunner 910XT is not being recognised by ANT+ anymore using Garmin upload. Garmin Edge 800 using USB uploading working correctly. Anyone having this problem?

What are you using? ANT Agent, Garmin Communicator, and 'old' Garmin Connect or Garmin Express and modern Garmin Connect?

I just upgraded to Yosemite and now the Garmin Express won't upload from my Edge 800. The 800 is recognized, the progress bar goes about halfway across and then I get an error message "Sorry, some files from this device couldn't be synced". So I dowloaded the file manually from the device and tried to upload load it to GC via manual upload and I get the following error message: "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again." However, when I upload the same file to Strava, it uploads just fine...so it's not the file...

Any ideas?

You picked the wrong day to upgrade to Yosemite, that's all. GC was having major problems yesterday, possibly due to the switch back to standard time in the US. Try it today.
