This software is very challenging. Between ANT, Garmin Express, and Communicator plug in -- there are NO CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS as to what is needed and when and for what.
Aside from not finding my Forerunner, and reloading all of the above my next challenge is:
Runs from 2013 have been sync'd into Garmin Connect and those are great to see ! But all my runs from the past few months just won't sync. I see them in my watch so the data is there, but after sync'ing a dozen times, this conflagarance of software refuses to download any RECENT runs from the Forerunner 610 watch.
Any help would be great here, or else I'll ask a friend to build some script to just get the data from my watch onto a spreadsheet.
Advice to Garmin -- forget the bells and whistles -- focus on the basics -- easy to use and actually upload data from the watch to a cloud app.
