Finally!

I just subscribed to a 3rd party tool to do this syncing in the background. I should have waited another week!

According to DC rainmaker; Strava is done; Endomondo and MapmyFittness coming soon.

I certainly welcome this as Garmin Connect is lacking and very slow.

It doesn't work for me. None of my steps or my non-GPS workouts from my VivoSmart are syncing to Endo. I swear, this 2014 right? Feels more like 1999.
  • I just started using Garmin Connect in August. I have a year of workouts on MMR that I'd like to sync over to Connect. What is the tool now that will do that for me, or am I stuck waiting for Connect and MMR to play nice?

  • It looks like the functionality might already be in place given this support post over on MapMyFitness. I don't have an account, so I can't tell you how to do it, but you should probably look around your account settings for an option to enable linking with Garmin Connect.

I did find this post that describes how to connect to MyFitnessPal. It is possible that the process is similar (maybe only available from an App). I don't really know.

If all else fails, you could use SyncMetrics.
  • Hi,

Not using my MyFitnessPal. Using MMR, according to the post for MMR they are having "issues". I've scoured the site, there is nothing obvious that would allow me to sync MMR to Garmin (and vice versa).

As far as SyncMetrics ... I went to their website and right on the home page they have this announcement:

    Home
We’d like to thank everyone for the support we received over the last two years. We have worked hard on SyncMetrics but at the moment we will not be able to keep the service running.

So ... I don't think Syncmetrics is a viable solution.

Oh well so much for that.
