Heart rate monitor and replacement garmin forerunner 305

As my original device came to an end I purchased a replacement device from Garmin (forerunner 305)

I still have the original heart rate monitor. Will the heart rate monitor correspond to the replacement device?

Let me know if you have an answer. Have tried to phone Garmin but have been put on hold for well over 45 minutes over 4 phonecalls!

The HRM should be compatible - was your original device a 305 or is the replacement a 305?

You just need to pair the HRM with the new watch and then you are good to go
