Export courses from Garmin Connect

Hi I recently bought a Tacx training brake, the software that came with it says you can load your own courses in to Goggle maps, can anyone tell me how I export my courses from Garmin Connect in a format that can be loaded in to Tacx software/google maps. the import formats seem to be .TTS or .GPS

Thanks
  • If the folks at Tacx say you can get courses from Garmin Connect into their software, I would think that they would be the ones you would approach to discover the best way to do it.

A quick google search turned up this article, and this video. Both indicate that you only need a .gpx file. If you want to ride the course for an activity that you've previously uploaded to Garmin Connect, you can just use the Export menu on the Activity details page and export the gpx file to your desktop. Once you have the file there, you should be able to import the file into the Tacx software.

I don't believe that you'll be able to import a course created using the Garmin Connect course editor. I don't think that it contains the elevation data that is necessary. If this is what you wanted to do, I can help you get a gpx file for the course.
