Garmin connect won't load on my computer

as of yesterday 8/2 Garmin connect has stopped loading on my computer. Once I sign in all I get is the Connect title at the top, the 4 icons on the side (which won't open) and a blank screen. What is up?
  • I had that on my windows pc recently. For me it was the way I spoofed some domains in the hosts file on my computer. For many though, I think it may be privacy/malware addons such as AdBlocker and security settings. My Macbook hasn't had an issue with the modern GC, but I don't do the same level of security on it as I do my Windows PC.

They`re doing some work on the site, so it may have been that

iv'e had the exact same issue for over a week and I have tried uninstalling and re installing several times, still no change
  • JACOBE65, Garmin Connect is the website at http://connect.garmin.com. You can't uninstall it as it isn't ever installed onto your computer.

If you are seeing the blue screen and the four icons on the side, but they are not clickable, the problem is almost certainly caused by a privacy extension enabled in your browser or maybe a firewall/proxy that is blocking access to the AddThis or Tealium services. Typically this is caused by the Ghostery, ShareMeNot or AdBlock extensions.

Yeah peoples, I had an Ad blocker on I was using in Chrome. I removed the Ad blocker completely, now Garmin connect works perfectly. I think the Ad blocker I had was called ABP???..... All the same, it is a fix.

I'm having this issue on my MAC in Safari and Chrome. I have no "ad blocker" or "malware/virus" software running. This has to be a setting in the browser security/privacy settings.

    Argh!

Oh just seeing this. This is probably a proxy issue since it would go through our corporate proxy....
