Can't upload tcx

I have a tcx file I downloaded from virtualtraining.com that I am trying trying to manually upload to Garmin Connect. I either get an error message to try again later, or it says it's uploading but doesn't finish after several hours.

I've tried uploading at least 20 times from 2 different computers on 2 different networks, from IE and Chrome on each computer, over the past day.

I tried uploading the same .tcx file to trainingpeaks.com and it uploaded correctly the first time.

I've uploaded .tcx files to garmin connect before without any problem. The only difference is that this is the largest file I've tried to upload - it's about 5.6MBytes.

Any idea what could be happening?

It could be the size of the file, or it could be that Garmin Connect isn't willing to accept the file due to some inconsistency with the format that it expects. I've seen problems related to the pickiness of the Garmin Connect import functionality several times.

If you upload the .tcx (or a compressed version of it) somewhere, and post a link to it here, I can take a look at it and try to figure out what is going on.

Give this file a try. Was able to get it to upload to GC without any issues.
