Unable to edit Activity title without closing browser & reopening

Every since I started using the Modern version of Garmin Connect I have been having issues with editing the Activity title in the Activities Log. When I click "Quick Edit" and then click in the Activity title field I find that the field is not clickable/editable. So, I have to close out my browser, re-open the browser and then click in the Activity's title field to edit the title. If I need to edit the title of a second activity, I once again have to close down the browser, then re-open the browser and then edit the activity's title field. This is occurring in both Internet Explorer 11 and Apple Safari. I do not have this issue in the Classic version of Garmin Connect. Also in the Modern version when editing an activity in the Activities Log: when I click on Activity Type and choose one of the running options, it will only let me select "Running", the website will not let me select any of the running option subtitles listed under running, such as "Track Running", "Trail Running", "Street Running", or "Treadmill Running". Please, please, please fix this issue.

    I can only edit the title and then use the drop down for type of activity. I cannot add distance (ex using a treadmill). Also I can't upload unless I switch back to modern. ???????

    Did you get a fix for editing the Title Cybertekkno? I have the same problem and it is driving me nuts, it simply will not save the title

    @MIKEYD1961, I sent a private message to a support staff person several days ago and as of this morning they have not bothered to read my message about this. It's really is an aggravating problem. I have to go into the Activities Log, click Quick Edit, try to type in the title field (cannot even click in the field), close the browser window, then re-open the browser, follow the same steps and click in the field to edit the title. Once I click "Finish", I have go through all of the steps above twice to edit a second Activities Log title. They really need to fix this..... I will post an update if I get an response from someone at Garmin about this.
  • I don't have any of the problems you describe on my macbook with either safari or chrome, nor do I have any issues on my pc with win7 professional 64bit using either firefox or chrome. I can edit the title and any editable field on the page. This includes list of activities or when doing a quick edit when viewing an individual activity.

    Seems to me it may be more a local security issue on your computer. Maybe a security setting in your browsers, a setting in your virus and/or malware protections such as adblocker of such. Possibly just clearing your cache might clear up the issue.

    I have my security settings set on Medium and do not have this issue with either browser in the Classic version of Garmin Connect. This only occurs in Garmin Connect Modern. Both of my browsers are already set to clear the web cache whenever I shut them down, so this would not be the issue. It appears to be a scripting issue on Garmin's end. I put in a trouble ticket today.
