Sick of changes - Can't I just use the software

I hate that you guys keep rolling out changes.

There's some people who were happy just to see a simple spreadsheet and the map.
I swear lately everytime I go to download my device, I spend 30 minutes installing updates.

Leave it alone - I want to spend my time exercising not managing your software.

Boo to garmin!
  • You won't like Microsoft much either then :)

I'm sure the people who want improvements and bug fixes are super happy to hear this.

If what you have is working for you, then keep doing it until it stops working.

    I agree with sikorskib.
This software has gotten too esotaric. It has also gotten to look like the ugly windows 8.

This new software is a huge fail. Even the simple phone softwares such like Endomondo or Sporttracker work way better than this and are user friendly. How hard is it to bench mark other products and produce something similar ?? Its really frustrating to see that the product dont deliver at all when you buy expensive system for sport. I expected to get some quality software to follow your results but no... This is the worst software ive seen. I like my Garmin 800 but the software makes the whole system rubbish.
  • Perhaps if you explain the issues you're having in a new thread someone can help. At the moment we have no idea what your problem is?

Ditto, leave the old versions for people that were happy with it. Stop hiding functionality, changing fonts, colours and screen setup and then claim to be fixing bugs. No need, I don't have time to figure out your new versions, too busy putting on miles.
