Is Connect De-supporting Weight/Health Tracking?

I've been tracking all my vitals on Connect for several years, using a 610 and a Tanita scale. When I upgraded to a 620 (610 was stolen) I found that the watch sync with the scale was de-supported. I had a visual display for the scale and found a cool freeware app that allowed me to do a manual upload of all the numbers. It now looks like the new design is eliminating the manual upload function, and you can only manually enter your weight, and not all the body fat etc numbers.

Am I going to be forced to find another tool to track all that? If so, this could be the end of the road for Garmin, as I've had nothing but issues with the 620, and my wife's 610 is having problems also.

Shame, for the most part Garmin has been good to us over the past 10 years.

  • The manual upload functionality is still there. It doesn't appear on every page like it used to, but it is there. If you go to the activities page, there is an Import link near the top-right corner of the screen. This is what you are looking for.
