Cannot upload data to Garmin Connect

So a moderator wants more data on my problem which I posted about in a previous thread so here goes with the info that he/she requested:

My device is a Garmin forerunner 310XT
My upload method is uploading my data via my Ant USB stick to Garmin connect.
I was using the normal Garmin connect but also trying to use the modern interface.

My problem is as follows: Several weeks ago after having no problems with my data uploading via my Ant USB stick suddenly no data would automatically upload. I then went to Garmin Connect, and clicked the upload button. It reads my device and says that it is searching for new activities but it will spend all day searching but never uploading anything. My device has new activities on it so that is not the problem. After taking advice I went through all of Garmins suggestions such as checking that your device is set as enabled to transfer data and that data pairing is set to on. Nothing helped. I did a hard reset of my device and did new activity but still nothing. Then I re-installed all of my Garmin files in my laptop and still nothing works. This is angering me because Garmin have not replied to my mails to their customer services. I now have a Garmin that I cannot upload anything too.

Also, when I open Garmin express it cannot find my device to connect to even though my Ant Stick is connected properly and my device is near with no other electrical appliances around it.

Please help. I hope that the moderator who requested that I do this reads this and helps.

Sorry to hear about your recent upload problems. This thread is very long due to a problem that existed a few months ago where an actual outage on the Garmin Connect side prevented ALL uploads from completing successfully. That issue has been fixed, and as a result I'm going to close this thread.

If you are still having upload problems, the root cause is ultimately different, but we are still VERY interested in fixing your problem. Please create a new thread describing your problem and we will do whatever we can to resolve it. Here are a few key things that will be helpful in resolving your issue:

- What device do you have?
- What is your upload method, e.g. Garmin Express, Garmin ANT Agent, Garmin Communicator Plug-in?
- Are you using "Legacy" Garmin Connect, or the new "Modern" interface
- Then please provide a description of your problem, including any steps leading up to the issue.
  • Can you indicate which version of Garmin Express that you are using? Click the 'Gear' in the upper-right hand portion of the screen, and then note the version number under 'About Garmin Express'.

    Then, if you aren't using version 3.2.16 (current as of today), please click 'Check for Application Updates'. This should cause Garmin Express to update itself. There are some recent fixes in the latest builds for the 310XT.
