What the heck Garmin?

No one from Garmin seems to read these forums anyways, so here is my rant:

  • Garmin Express is terrible. What a poor execution of what should be a simple solution.
  • Garmin Express killed by 510, and I had to warranty it because after an update, it no longer works
  • My 910XT no longer syncs to Garmin Connect... Never had problems before, now it won't pair.
  • Why are you doing a slow partial incomplete half baked roll out of the new Garmin Connect? Seriously?
  • Coupled with the inbred old and new, the Garmin Connect GUI is by far the most unpleasant system I've ever had to navigate. It's simply terrible.
  • Who works on your product development team? Are they cyclists? Runners? Or a bunch of goons? Simple features abundant on free platforms everywhere else are absent in yours.


Start providing quality and support for customers that shell out $400+ or more for your product.

    Having been on numerous Garmin forums over many years folks that have issues generally either don't know how to operate their devices, software etc or expect something it was never designed to do. That's not to say there aren't problems at times, but again generally where there are Garmin is fairly quick at fixing them.

    I've had many Garmin devices, used a lot of their software and can only think of a couple of times when the fault could be laid squarely at Garmin's door.

    Most of your problems seem to stem from Express. If you want help please post in the Express forum where there is a team from Garmin that is very active there.
