I am trying to make some sense of the figures I am getting in reports.
Does anyone know how the following and calculated by the Garmin Connect application:
TSS
IF
Normalized Power
I've looked on the Training Peaks website and they explain a lot, but TSS is totally different in the number they get compared to what I get. For instance, I get a TSS of around 65, but I don't know what this means. The IF is around 0.95 so perhaps I need to recalibrate my FTP.
Any help in understanding how the figures are arrived at would be greatly appreciated. It may well be that there is info provided by Garmin on the website somewhere, but I cannot locate it.
