Last night and this morning I used my heart rate monitor and did workouts. I synced and neither of them are showing under activities. No data whatsoever. What do I do?
  • How are you syncing your vivofit? With Garmin Express or your phone? If it is your phone are you using the Android or iOS app.

Just to confirm, you are using a Heart Rate monitor during these activities and you can see it working during your activity? How did you end the activity, by just taking off the strap or by holding the button on the 'HEART' page until you see 'OFF'?

I have tried both garmin express and the app (iOS). I'm using a heart rate monitor, I can see my heart rate the entire workout and I end it by holding down the button until I see heart off.

Now the odd part I just noticed was the amount of calories burned for the workout showed up in myfitnesspal as the garmin calorie correction. The calories on garmin connect match my vivofits tally. So the calories are there. However no "activity" is listed and I can't view any heart rate data.

It's simply being grouped up with my steps activity as far as I can tell.
  • Okay, I'll test it out. Last question, how long were the activities?

I have started seeing a similar problem. I have both a Fenix 2 and Vivofit. For the past week, when I have a running activity which I record on both devices, the vivofit version is deleted in the activity list by the fenix 2 version, when the fenix is synced. Prior to last 5 or so days, both would populate in the activity list. Has Garmin made a change here? When I do strength training, I still see both activities. I sync the Fenix 2 through usb/express, the vivofit through bluetooth/android.

Last night and this morning were both approximately 30 minutes.

    Update:

I wore my HRM for 10 mins just sitting there and synced up and it showed under activities. I deleted it and went ahead and did my workout for 70 minutes went to sync.... NOTHING! This is annoying.

not sure if your sync issue is caused by not correctly activating your HRM. Before I start an 'activity' I will wear my HRM and wet the two contact patches on the HRM. Then I will toggle through the Vivofit until the 'HEART' is displayed. it takes a few seconds but then starts reading my HR with a flashing heart icon. This seems to recognize the activity. Hope this helps.
