I recently did a ride where I my edge touring plus recorded a height gain of 1630 meters which converts to about 5300 feet. When I synced with garmin connect it only recorded 4500 feet. Anyone know why? Cheers, Paul.
If you look at the activity details, at the bottom-left edge of the page, you should see a section named Additional Information[/i] with a picture of your device. There is an option there for Elevation Corrections. Is this option enabled for your activity?
