Just purchased Garmin 15

Hi - I just purchased the Garmin 15. I am charging it on the computer. It is connected to Garmin Connect.
My issue it....since taking it out of the packaging, there has been a solid black triangle on the screen. The battery icon indicates charging. None of the buttons work though, meaning, nothing changes on the screen at all - all that continues to remain is the solid triangle.
Is this normal? I had a Garmin 110 for about 4 years and when I took it out of the box I was able to set it up, and then charge it before using.

Any advice is appreciated.

I can't remember if I could do anything with mine straight out of the box, I do believe I had to charge it first. That being said it's normal for it just to show the black triangle and battery icon when the FR15 is connected to the computer. Once you discomnect it you should get your set up options. After you set it up you will get the time and usually step count. If it's stuck on the triangle after you unplug it that's not normal. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I just disconnected it and it read that the data was complete. A few seconds later I was able to set it up. I appreciate your response.

No problem :) It's a little nerve-racking when such an expensive device isn't acting like you'd expect.
