310xt Won't Sync

My 310xt has been sporadic at best with my uploads to Garmin Connect. I was originally able to simply "Upload" at Garmin Connect. That stopped working, so I did some research and tried using the ANT Agent. That worked exactly one time, and only after I did a reset on the watch that deleted all activities. I then researched and downloaded Garmin Express, which seemed to be the answer to my problems...until today. My watch has stopped syncing again, I am getting the message "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". I have deleted my device from Garmin Express and allowed it to pair again. I have totally uninstalled Garmin Express, restarted, reinstalled, repaired...nothing. I have deleted temporary internet files, used both IE and Chrome to try uploading, even installed Garmin Express on my work computer and tried it there, thinking I may have had something on my home computer that was interfering with the transfer. I have also double-checked that pairing is enabled on my device. I am literally ready to throw it in the garbage. Does anyone have ANY suggestions?
  • When you uninstall Garmin Express (or the ANT Agent) it leaves a bunch of files behind. I'm curious if one of those files is messing you up.
  • Garmin Express contains a few fixes for the 310XT that didn't exist in ANT Agent; it should be working. I'm going to send you a PM and gather some additional detail.

    I'm having a similar issue with my 310XT. It had been working through Garmin Express and stopped working on the 20th (Sunday morning). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Garmin Express and I had already uninstalled ANT Agent several weeks ago. There are a few run in there that I'd really like to look at split from.
  • Can you make sure that you are using the latest version of Garmin Express? There are fixes specifically for the 310XT in the last few versions. Click the Gear in the upper right hand portion of the application and note the 'About Garmin Express' section. To update you can click 'Check for Application Updates'. The latest version is 3.2.16.

    I have the latest GE and I am still having this problem. I am ready to throw this thing away. I have tried everything and device will not be recognized. Do the ANT USB agent hardware fail.

    I would not recommend this product to anyone.
