Steps not updating in Steps Report and Weekly Leaderboard

After syncing my vivofit, my total steps update in the "Today" window right away, but in the Weekly Leaderboard and the Steps Reports, they do not update right away. I have a wait a long time and refresh many times for the data to finally update. This is very annoying.
  • And now that the steps are updating they aren't being exported to MFP. This is ridiculous.

    Have steps in day report

    I have step showing on my day report but not on my steps for that day , since the 23rd ( 3 days) . Not good for Garmin.
  • Fixed yesterday, broken again today.
  • I have been having this issue where the last two days of my total steps show under the 'Today' section but do not show up under steps report along with not counting towards my weekly step challenge. How do I resolve this? I have synced from my phone and even connected the vivoactive to my computer and synced it using the garmin express tool.

    Exactly the same issue for me. Garmin FR 235. Stopped suddenly on the 25th and hasn't worked since. Up to the 25th worked fine.

    I've been tweeting Garmin and they keep directing me to send an email, which I've now done, but if this is a problem affecting a lot of us then they need to start digging at their side. This is clearly a server side / app / website issue.
  • I've sent 3 e-mails to Garmin in the last week. All unanswered. I guess since I already gave them my $ I don't matter.
  • I think it's important Garmin realise this is a wider issue affecting lots of us rather than just one off support issues.

    I've tweeting a link to this thread to their twitter account so maybe they'll take a look and raise it up to their support team.

    Called Garmin

    I called Garmin and spoke to support.
    They're aware of this problem and working to fix it.


    Btw, support was top notch, courteous, and US based
  • It would be nice if they spoke to each other at Garmin and updated their status page or let their Twitter team know. Currently it's green on status and Twitter lot don't have a clue about this. It means the wrong message gets sent out and leaves customers frustrated.

    Surprising for a large organisation. If you look at the likes of Sony and similar they have decent updates and reduce online anger this way. Look after your customers and they'll stay yours.
