Modern Website - IT IS FANTASTIC!!!

Thank you Garmin for making the two minor adjustments that I have requested!!! I can now say the I am EXTREMELY happy with the new website!!! I have fully integrated Garmin into my personal health and fitness lifestyle!!!

I personally own two Garmins:
1) The Forerunner 620 for fulltime training purposes
2) The Forerunner 15 for an every day watch and fitness tracker/training backup

I have been now able to integrate the watches, the Garmin Connect website and the Garmin Connect App into a routine for tracking my health and fitness. I have been able to set up both a Sports page and a Health & Fitness page , where I have the ability to track the information that is pertinent. I have also began to track calories with your service partner MyFitnessPal. With all this, I am very comfortable with the transition to the new website and no longer have need to revert back to the Classic Site ever!!!

I know that the change has been hard for a lot of people and their impatience may wear you down, but like me, they will soon come to realize the benefits of the modern site!!! They should also be patient and positively make suggestions for improvements - as I have noticed, you do listen and make the updates!!!

I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the new website and changes that you have made!!! Also, I look forward to further enhancement that you may have planned!!!

    Don't be suspicious...the new site still has some small bugs, but the Garmin team has been working them out!!! The team has been very responsive to my requests and I have integrated to the new site 100% I am not sure if you can see my use by click on my user name, but if you can, please take a look!:D It took some time for me to be sold, but I am now!!! I just want the Garmin team to hear some positive news. I am a happy customer!!!
  • Small Bugs :eek: - for a lot of users these are major bugs or feature changes that cause inconvenience or force people to change the way they organise their information

    I think the change has been traumatic for people because they have features important to the way they have organised their training that have disappeared or stopped working. In addition Garmin seem to be making it more difficult for people to use their data in other applications unlike many of their competitors who are becoming more open.

    I'm not against change but it is very annoying when core training features are removed - this happened with the transition from Training Centre to Connect - it is possible to set up workouts in TC and export them to say a forerunner 610 that you cannot set up in Connect classic or modern.

    Time will tell whether Garmin have made the right choice
