I use the ANT+ usb to sync my garmin vivofit to my laptop every other week or so. I tried to sync it last nite (after midnite, not that I think it matters) and it would say on the computer that the sync was unsuccessful and to try again. I gave it two or three more tries before I went to bed. Then this morning I tried again and on the first try it not only seemed to work, but I got a popup notification like 4 or 5 times saying it synced successfully (which made me think it was holding onto all the sync attempts from last nite and uploaded the data multiple times when it finally connected?).
When I logged into Garmin Connect to check out my data, I noticed that on Thursday, it said I logged only 55 steps, which is impossible given that I wasn't in bed all day or anything. I worked a 14 hour day Thursday and logged many steps. Can't remember if I beat my goal or not but it would definitely been in the thousands. I log more than 55 just walking to the bathroom at work.
Any idea what could have caused this error in reporting? Any way for me to modify my steps retroactively?
Thanks guys. This is my first post but I did do a couple searches on the forum and the FAQ to see if I could find this answer and came up with nothing so I apologize if it's been addressed before.
