I tried to update my nuvi to the latest drivers via the dashboard, however something went wrong. Following the update, I restart the unit, and now the unit goes into an endless loop trying to load the maps at start, and thereafter screen goes blank. This keeps repeating itself, like an endless loop.
I am running windows 8.1, latest Garmin communicator plugins for x64 etc.
While there might be something more seriously wrong with the device, I believe that some file got accidentally corrupted during the upgrade.
Does someone have the time the try to copy the files from their unit and put them on a dropbox or equivalent? I obviously do not need the map files (those with *.img). We are talking about perhaps 150mb of files.
