I'm very unhappy that the Garmin Connect app for Android requires permission to read/send SMS and MMS messages from my cellphone. That's absolutely not ok. Why would the app need this? Why introduce this requirement in the most recent version of the app, when it worked 100% perfectly before? :mad:
I think it is required because the new Edge1000 can alert users that they have received SMS whilst they are out riding and probably have their cellphones in a back pocket.
