I'd like to be able to be able to see the number of steps with the footpod rather than go out and have to buy an additional tracking device, I already have the 310XT and really like it. I don't see why I should have to buy another product to just do step tracking. I think if I pay $40/year to Runkeeper they'll show it as part of Runkeeper Elite.
The steps aren't aggregated like you'd expect from one of the new devices like the VivoFit, but the information is there. The activities list displays the number of steps for individual activities, and you can configure the reports page to display steps so you can generate a report to show the total steps for a given period.
