I have been visited by the new Garmin Connect. Garmin Express uploads my efforts, but Garmin Connect Modern just gives me a blank blue screen. Is there a how to use somewhere or other?

Cheers
  • Do a search and read some of the earlier forum posts. Most of them cover of issues with the different browsers and operating systems.

Welcome to the family! It seems a common issue from about five months. Nothing works well with the new Garmin connect.
I try with different PC, laptops, tablets and smartphones; different OS like windows seven, xp, ios7; different browsers like safari, chrome, IE, Firefox. Nothing works.
  • The most frequent cause of this issue is a browser extension that blocks content from addthis.com. If you are using ghostery or disconnect, you are very likely to be affected. If this is the case in your situation, the workaround is to either whitelist *.garmin.com, or to disable blocking of content from addthis.com.

Hi Trevis, I'm not using ghostery or disconnect. I don't understand what how to whitelist *.garmin.com or disable blocking of content from addthis.com. From all my browsers and PC or tablets, could you help me?
    Thank you in advance, Stefano
  • I'm saying if you are using ghostery, disconnect, or any other browser extension that might block addthis.com, you need to (partially) disable the browser extension. If you don't know what a browser extension is, then there is still a small chance that you have some sort of privacy firewall.

When you say you tried a bunch of different computers/devices, were they all connected to the same network? Have you tried to log in from a computer away from them (say at a friends house, or a library, coffee shop, ...)?

Yes, Travis, I try from different computers connected to different network. But it was always the same: I see my activities, but I can't compare them anymore.

I solve in this way: if your GC doesn't work in your language, change it in English. Now I'm able to compare my activities.
