Heart Rate % of Maximum Not Displayed

Hi,
I have a Garmin Edge Touring Plus with a Garmin HR monitor. I can't get the device to show me my HR as % of max. It displays HR fine though.
I've tried setting my zones and max in connect, and clicking send to device. No luck.
Anyone got this working?

The send to device functionality requires that Garmin Express be installed and configured correctly. I'm not absolutely certain the functionality works with the Touring/Touring Plus at all, so I'm not sure if you can expect it to work. Maybe someone with that device could chime in.

I'm curious if you can enter your HRmax into the device directly. Typically this setting is either in the User Profile or in the Heart Rate sections of the on-device settings.

Apparently the Touring Plus doesn't have a facility to enter your HRmax or zones anywhere. In this post, a Touring Plus owner determined that the device is using the age provided in the settings to determine your HRmax. If you know the HRmax that you want to use, you can determine the age to enter into the settings page by solving the equation.... HRmax-220=Age
