I can't figure out how to change my FTP. This number is used when calculating other various metrics, but the number that is being used isn't my FTP. Does anyone know how to enter it manually? Thank you kindly
You should be able to change it on your Garmin device directly. Instructions for doing that would be in the manual for your device. For the 910XT it is in Mode > Settings > Bike Settings > [Bike] > Power Zones. For the 510 it is in Training Zones > Power.
To change the value on Garmin Connect, go to Cycling Zones and click Power Zones. You should see an entry for FTP as well as your power zones. Enter the data, click Save, then click Send to Device.
