Activities Log Suddenly Is (Mostly) Inaccessible

I own a Garmin Forerunner 410. The last couple of days, I have not been able to access all of my Activities log. I can only get at pieces of it. A partial list of the recent activities appears on my Modern dashboard. But when I try to get to the entire log, I get:

"There was an internal error while searching for activities."

with the little constipated blue face.

If I do a search on a subset of my activities from this page by typing a keyword, results of the search may or may not come up, but trying to access the whole list always gives the above message.

I have a suspicion that there is one recent entry (from July 6) that is hosing up the entire list. Whenever I search on a keyword containing that run's name, I get the same blue face (I have numerous runs with that name). I can see the run come up in the partial list on my Modern dashboard and when I click on it, I get this message:

"Unable to find com.garmin.activity.summary.ActivitySummary with id 716993572"

I have tried accessing from Modern and Classic views. Same results. I run the most Garmin Express from my MacBook Pro. Same results on several browsers.

  • I am facing the same problem. Have you found any solution?

Same here. No solution. I also have noticed that it is no longer syncing with other apps.
  • I've taken a look at the backend data and it appears that the three of you are all in the same boat. There is at least one activity that has at some point become corrupted during the upload process. We are working on a fix for this and apologize for the downtime.
  • My activities in the activity list has vanished today, I had other issues over the last couple of days things working and not working and "Unable to find com.garmin.activity.summary.ActivitySummary..."
  • @[email protected] It looks like there is a problem activity in your account as well. We're hoping to have these fixed in the next few days. Sorry for the inconvenience!
  • When I go on my activity page (http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities) I get this message "There was an internal error while searching for activities", and no activities are listed.

On the home page http://connect.garmin.com/modern/ I can see my activities on the widget on the page, I can then access all activities via the widget except for one "Unable to find com.garmin.activity.summary.ActivitySummary with id 729907847" it was there when originally uploaded then vanished, I can see it on activity widget list but I can't access this activity and I can't delete it off the widget, I still have this activity on my edge800 if anyone can help

Hi I have been experiencing the same problems for quite a while. "There was an internal error while searching for activities."
Probable from late July? Do you know if this problem has been resolved yet? Or should I log this issue to somewhere?
Can you help me to take a look too? Thank you so much!

I am having a similar issue. I can see activities from the past month but nothing older. I am not getting any error messages but I although have 34 pages of records and I am able to click to different pages they all list the same, most recent, 20 activities. Any advice?
    Thanks!

You can sign me up for this same problem. I am getting the "There was an internal error while searching for activities" message in Activities as well. I contacted [email protected] and they said that a software engineer has been assigned to look into the issue. No choice but to wait and see.
