When I sync my GPS watches to Garmin connect it appears to be brining in the correct information. However I have noticed when I manually add or edit an activity for cases where I did not use a watch, or in cases of races where official results differ from what the watch recorded, there is a problem with Connect showing the correct average pace.
When I am in the full edit screen and enter the distance and time it auto calculates the correct average pace, but when I view these activities after saving they show a slightly different pace which I have verified is incorrect.
Can anyone shed some light on what is going on? I'm hoping I am just missing something obvious. Average pace is my primary benchmark for monitoring progress, and I just upgraded my Garmin watch because I really enjoy using Connect, but this is a real problem for me if it can't be fixed.
