New Garmin Connect is Terrible

I understand the need to continue to improve and innovate but this new Garmin Connect website is one of the worse designed websites I've seen in a long time. I don't know how in the world this got approved and rolled out in such a large company as Garmin but either the developers, product managers, or person who accepted the contract from the outside firm should be ashamed of themselves.

I've tried to think of some recommendations on what would make it better but I'm stumped on even where to being. At least the old site was someone easy to use and visually understandable. This new site is completely useless, ugly, and hard to navigate around in.

Someone in the organization needs to look at the competing websites or at a minimum buy a couple of UI/UX design books off Amazon and start over.

Maybe they should be paying attention... I have to admit, when I discovered what they did in the new roll-out I was highly disappointed. To an early post, I agree - they either didn't get consumer BETA feedback or they ignored it. Feels like the designer actually liked the MS office 2013 theme (no matter how terrible it is) and had to replicate it here. Garmin - time to role it back and start again with user input this time...
  • There you go you are spending so much time telling us how all these features are actually there, we have just not found them, it shows how the new software is not in touch with the users of today.

Have you ever tried finding features in MS word? Connect is a doddle really, but Modern is different to Classic so explore a little, it's intuitive once you do.

I agree with K1874. I think enough ranting is enough so I'm going to lock this thread.

Any genuine issues/queries please open a new thread. If it's Express related please post in the Express forum, there is a very active Garmin team there. Queries posted here in the Connect forums will mainly be responded to from users rather than Garmin staff.
