Just noticed the 'Modern' link on my Garmin Connect page today so I clicked it. Its nice to be able to try out new software before the old version goes away, but I don't like the fact we lose space on the screen. Modern has this black bar at the top and left of the screen and that steals valuable mapping space. In the old version I can pretty much make the whole browser window mappable simply by scrolling the browser. When I scroll in the browser in modern, those black bars are locked in place, so I'm not impressed so far. Is there any way you can collapse these bars down?
I don't like the lack of screen space. I have a very large monitor and when maximizing the window, the bottom third of the screen is useless. I want the maps/calendar/reports to fill up the whole vertical space (or close to it) like they do the horizontal space.
There is a bug in the latest "total distance" reports (widget?).
All my swimming distances are shown as kilometers instead of meters so the other distances (eg walking) in the same report are not shown (due to being comparatively smaller than swimming distances).
I noticed a bug in the "total distance" report as well. It just began displaying my running miles as swimming miles. It seems to do this only when I choose the 6 months or 12 months time periods.

I have a 30" monitor, and the create course map is 3 times as wide as it is tall.
