When selecting "Where To", and afterwards "All POIs" or "Restaurants" or whatever Point of Interest category, the device shows all POIs of that category near the current location of *ALL* maps which are available on the device. It does not matter if the map was enabled or disabled - every map is taken!
When there are several maps for one area - e.g. a cycling map and an automotive map - POIs are shown several times.
I suggest a feature - which may be available on other Garmin devices already, see e.g. http://gis.19327.n5.nabble.com/How-to-remove-an-index-from-an-existing-map-tp5810124p5810133.html - for selecting the maps from which POIs are taken.
Alternatively, POIs should only be taken from the maps which are currently "enabled".
