+1 - I have been surprised since day one that you can't go full screen with the activity map. Very frustrating. Even with this last huge update - still no full size maps!?
The fullscreen bookmarklet doesn't work at the moment due to a change in Garmin Connect that enforces pages to load only through secure https. (which is in itself a good thing) I will update soon, I hope, to make it work with both Classic and Modern.
I have been surprised since day one regarding the lack of being able to see a full screen map. I am especially surprised by it when plotting a course; the map that they provide kind of leaves a whole lot to be desired. Meanwhile, we are supposed to be impressed with the stupid modern interface for the site where everything looks like a mobile app, sorry but I am not impressed with your site. I would be impressed if they would let me save a route from Google (which can be created in about 5 seconds) as a route for my device. Hey Garmin, Google is so close to being able to make your product irrelevant that it is amazing, do something about it and impress your users.
I have updated the full screen map feature to work with both classic and modern activity pages served over secure HTTPS. I have also added an option to install this feature as a user script if you have an add-on for that in your browser. That way it will work automatically every time you visit an activity page.
