As a workaround you can consult the Recovery HR with the help of DevTools. Not really comfortable, but if you are really interested, it is an immediately available solution. I described it in details in…
Thx trux
I set up the bookmarklet mentioned there. thx to WillNorthYork
It is only a workarount but works perfectly.
Nevertheless GARMIN could make this value visible in GC.
There seems to be a need for it…
Oh sorry, didn't got that correct. Yes it's not possible yet to show that in the dataset, as we don't have the data directly available. But feel free to request it at ideas.runalyze.com so we can see if…
- the "relative" recovery value (start HR - end HR)
- the "absolute" recovery value (end HR)
The GC site only has the relative value.
I know runalyze and use it too but in the big data overview (table) you can unfortunately only the "absolute" end HR displayed.
For a good comparison over several activities I find this not so helpful (meaningful), i prefer more the relative value.

Me too, but comparing apples to apples, Garmin Connect doesn't show you either value, and my bookmarklet requires you to navigate to an individual activity first. In runalyze you can see both values if you navigate to an individual activity, so I don't see any advantage with the GC bookmarklet except that you don't have to open runalyze in that case.
Maybe you could post a feature request to the runalyze devs? Far more likely to get results from them as opposed to Garmin.
@funnyname @MaxR6 @WillNorthYork You can configure the dataset (which are the values you can see on the dashboard table. "Recovery HR" is what you are looking for: runalyze.com/.../dataset
Thanks, but as discussed, that gives you the "absolute" recovery HR value (i.e. the final HR) when we are actually interested in the "relative" value or the change (start - final).
For example, every site that talks about recovery HR talks about looking at the change in HR over a given period of time (e.g. 1 - 2 minutes) as an indicator of fitness, not about looking at the final HR at the end of the period.

as we don't have the data
But this is only a simple subtraction and you have already specified the relative value (in the square bracket) in the individual activities.
Oh yes it would be great if the user could choose between releative and absolute Recovery HR.
To show both in the data overview (dashboard table) together like only 139 [45] would be perhaps too confusing.
The big data overview (dashboard table) in runalyze is actually the highlight for me.
A large tabular overview, with data fields according to my wishes.
