Forerunner 405 has stopped syncing to Garmin Connect

Hi

Since 17 June 2014 my Forerunner 405 has stopped syncing to Garmin connect, although I have done a number of runs since then and they are shown in the 405's History > Activities. When I switch to the 'classic' interface and click 'upload' so as to force a manual upload, Garmin Connect finds the 405 but lists the activities on it only up to 17 June. In other words it seems that Garmin Connect is unable to access activities that happened after that date, even though they are recorded on the 405.

Is this a consequence of the introduction of the 'modern' interface?

And what do I need to do to restore normal service?

    Hi,

I got the same issues since few day but with a Froreunner 410.

Garmin Express is up to date (3.2.9.0), my watch is full battery, I trie to create a 10sec workout without success.

In C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Unknown ANT Device-3854888538\Upload\FitnessHistory I can found my lasts workouts but not the 3 lasts of us (I can show them in the watch).
  • Since the last update to Garmin Express my 405cx is uploading the data but it garmin connect it shows up with device "unknown". If I look under devices it list the last sync as Jun 27 even though it uploaded an activity today. I've tried removing the device from both Express and connect and then repairing it but it did not solve the problem.

I am having the same issue, just received a replacement watch since my first one was damaged but this one does not synch, cant figure out!
  • A setting in Garmin Express might be the likely problem. There is a Garmin Express subforum that may have the solution for all of you.

There are other reasons, but I'd suspect that first. It might be as simple as telling Garmin Express to upload from that device when connected.
