Location lat and long will not accept changes to the fourth digit ?

I had spent hours successfully imputing data in my new gaps map 60csx
Today I tried to mark two new destinations and was unable to alter the third or fourth lat or long component.
So let's say N.35.09.390 in fact should have read N.35.89.390 , note that I was unable to have the 0 changed to an 8 why is this.

Probably because it wouldn't be valid. Are you sure it's a valid coordinate?

This certainly isn't . The multiple use of dots indicates that it is in degrees/decimal minutes: 35 degrees and 89.390 minutes. Since a degree is divided in 60 minutes, this is an impossible value...
I assume it's in decimal degrees (N 35.89390); in that case you have to set the coordinate input on your device accordingly (use hddd.ddddd).
