I cannot connect my Garmin 800 with the new format a message says 'no device connected' any idea how to force a connection to upload data?

Difficult to know what is happening from your description. Is your 800 visibale in Express or even in your PC? If not try the tips here http://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/case.faces?caseId=%7Be908ee90-c6c1-11e1-dcef-000000000000%7D

Come back with more information and a bit of detail on what you've tried/where it's failing if that FAQ doesn't help/apply.
