I just want to post maps of my tracks from my GPSMAP 60Cx to Facebook!

I don't use my GPSMAP 60Cx for fitness (unless it's the mental health kind!), I use it for navigating my Honda Gold Wing - a big, beastly touring motorcycle.

I participated in a great ride on Sunday through the backroads of Vermont, and all I'm trying to do is take the track and export it, and the map it's on, to a graphics file that I can then upload to a forum or Facebook and share it with my friends. But all I can find info on is these new models I've never heard of and apparently no one else on the planet uses a Garmin on their motorcycle! At least, that's what you'd think from the Garmin website and help files.

Can anyone give me a gentle nudge as to where I should try and find info on capturing tracks from the GPSMAP 60Cx and exporting them as a graphic?

Garmin's Mapsource will do that for you. I'm not sure it still is available from Garmin, but Google it, check www.gpsfiledepot.com for advice. You could also look at www.topofusion.com, I believe their demo can help you. Hopefully you did not save the active track on the 60csx, as it would be reduced to 500 points only. If you did, don't despair, hopefully the software kept most of it intact.
