Garmin connect down?

I had to have my 810 repaired/replaced and now when i attempt to login to garmin connect the sign in changes to sign out but i still get the login dialogue box. If I click the Dashboard tab, i get an error message and something a out the site being down so capacity can be increased. So, is the site down? If so, how long.

Thank you.
jerry
  • I think you should read the message more carefully.

    HI

i am getting this, the message it gives you is nothing to do with the problem, that's to do with the segment feature. i have not been able to log in to garmin connect from my PC for about 2 weeks now, all my activities are uploading with out an issue, as i can see them via my Ipad. but no matter what PC i use i still get the log in prompt and when i click dash board the same message about there being an error.

anyone else get it and has managed to find a resolution? e-mailed customer support but had nothing back at all

    thanks

This is what I see when I attempt to open the Dashboard. And, after entering login and password info, it goes from sign in to sign out. So you would think you are in but the login and password box reappears. When you click Dashboard the following appears:

Due to increased popularity, the segment feature is currently down so we can increase capacity. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
    Error
Sorry, but it appears that an error occurred.
    What To Do Now?
    ◦Refresh this page
◦Hit the back button on your browser and try the action again
◦Return to this page in a few minutes

  • The error you are seeing has nothing to do with the message about the segments feature. Apparently others are having similar problems...

It would seem to me that there is some issue with your browser or maybe your account. Have you tried a different browser? Have you tried clearing your cookies and resetting your browser settings? Possibly another computer?

I have a case into Garmin Support. They have indicated that this is a known problem on their end. Last week they told me it might take as much as 2 weeks to resolve.

tried different browsers and different PC's and all the same. getting the same errors as you guy's. i am still waiting for customer support to get back to me after 10 day's. pretty poor if you ask me. it is a good job i paid a lot of my watch and love it or i would head straight back to polar, who by the way are just as bad. but i am very very fickle
  • Segment feature is now working, this banner now displaying in Connect Modern

Segments are back up and running, although we are still making improvements. It may take a few days to process the segments you crossed or created
