Edge 510 Powering On and Shutting Down Immediately: Not being recognized by GE

This morning my 510 was attempting to install a firmware update and shut off. Since then it will power up to the GARMIN splash screen and then turn off. It is now not being recognized by garmin express either. I tried reformatting and with this:

When the Edge is connected to a PC right click on the drive and select "format" deselect the "Quick format" option and format the drive. Dismount the Edge from the PC and switch it on so that it rebuilds the file system. When it has completed switching on you can switch it off off and connect it back to the PC and unpack the contents of the zip file on this link and copy them to the root/top of the Edge drive.
