'Internal server error' -- cannot change activity title, type, event type

I just uploaded some activities to Garmin Connect. I clicked on the activity to go into activity details.

I choose quick edit in order to change the activity title, the activity type, and the event type. However, Garmin Connect keeps telling me there is some sort of internal server error. When I click on "Finish," nothing happens.

Incidentally, Garmin Connect is having a hard time showing the map. The map window keeps flashing.

Does anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Yep!!, exactly the same issue here could not edit or delete an event , the map defaulted to Kansas, pretty good since I am in Melboune Australia.
I said in an earlier post that I was disappointed in my Garmin purchase; Connect seemed to meet all my requirements and was a deciding influence , I will have owned a PC for 30 years next year, this program has been by far the most challenging and disappointing, two of my children were watching my experience before purchasing, which was fortunate, they have now decided on different products.

Exactly the same for me also. The map just flashes, showing the location of what I think is Garmin HQ in Kansas, and the charts below remain blank. Editing the title of the run is not possible. I managed to do this using the mobile app on my iPhone - where, I have to say, the Garmin Connect app performance is very fast and trouble free.

It seems to me that since the introduction of Modern the Garmin Connect site has been getting worse and worse - with today even the usual solution of switching to Classic failing to work - always slow and increasingly, just not working. I am a long time Garmin user and am committed to their ecosystem but this current performance is getting beyond a joke. The recent announcement that they are working to fix Segments hopefully means that somebody at least is monitoring the real world performance of their site and not just relying on what they see on computers in their office, networked directly to the company server.

    I live in hope...

similar issue when trying to export activity files.
  • I'm having the same problem (running in Japan, getting a map of Kansas City). I haven't found a solution. I hope Garmin is working on it.

Transported from Australia to Kansas; feel like Dorothy, perhaps we should enlist the aid of the Wizard of Oz!!!

I'm getting this in Western Australia as well. No map form my ride and cannot edit anything without getting this internal error. Everything worked so much better before Connect Modern and Garmin Express. Just so may bugs now causing issues with my devices and connect data.

Yep same problem, the classic version seemed more robust since the new modern website came out.
