Unable to export .tcx

I am a new Garmin Connect user. I don't have a device, but I imported a run in .gpx format from another app. I would like to export the .tcx file, but I am unable to do so. I get a message "This webpage is not available".

Am I doing something wrong?

Have similar problem trying to export .gpx file. Have contacted Garmin Support via email but no response (note: they don't seem to respond to any email support queries!)

This is just how it works. Garmin Connect will generate tcx and gpx data if you upload a fit file, or a gpx if you upload a tcx, but it doesn't go the other way. I'm assuming that this is because the data required for a valid tcx file is a superset of the data required by a gpx file (i.e., data inserted into the tcx would have to be made up because it isn't in the .gpx file).

If you want to convert from gpx to tcx, you'll have to find a tool that will do it. Garmin Connect is not that tool.
