Hi. I am new to Garmin Connect. The data it displayed in miles. I have my 210 distance settings in kilometers. Is there a way to change the miles to kilometers when viewing my data in Garmin connect?
Hi - in 'Classic' mode Connect, click on the little down-arrow to the right of your user name towards the top right hand corner of the Connect page, and in the drop-down click on 'Settings'. In the Settings page, select 'Display Preferences', and set Measurement Units to Metric.
In 'Modern' mode, I think it's still under Settings / Display Preferences, but I can't remember how you get there, and I don't want to switch modes in case I can't switch back again :)

Which is fine if you have a Garmin Connect login.
But I share the traces from my hiking group's walks with all the members, and previously they could switch into metric (which is what we use here in Hong Kong). Now I can find no way for a non-member just viewing the activity via a link to view it in metric.
Please can we have that feature back? Or alternatively have the "public" view of an activity be in whichever of (metric/imperial) the person posting it has in their settings?
